Customs Brokerage

Black Eagle Shipping Services is a customs clearance and freight forwarding company based at Khorfakkan Port, on the UAE's east coast. As a clearing agent registered with Sharjah Customs, we act as customs broker for import, export and transit cargo. We file declarations at the port of arrival, collect delivery orders from the shipping lines, attend inspections when a consignment is selected for examination, and monitor free time so containers leave the terminal before detention charges apply.

Freight Forwarding

As a freight forwarder, we book FCL and LCL sea freight through Khorfakkan Port and air freight through Sharjah International Airport, and arrange cross-trade shipments between overseas countries. Our road transport delivers to Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates, into the free zones under bond, and across the border to Saudi Arabia, Oman and the Upper Gulf on a transit declaration.

Special Cargo

Cargo outside a standard booking is planned before it moves. We clear, pack and document dangerous goods by class, monitor reefer containers at the terminal and deliver them at temperature, and move project, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge cargo on low-bed and side-loader trailers, with the route surveys, permits and escorts the road leg requires. Vehicles, machinery and breakbulk cargo are handled at the terminal.

Trade Setup

For companies trading through Sharjah for the first time, we register the importer or exporter code with customs, classify the goods under the correct HS code so the first declaration is not held, and obtain the MoIAT, MoCCAE, municipality and other approvals that controlled goods require. Commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading are checked before the vessel sails.

Black Eagle Shipping operates from Khorfakkan Port on the UAE's east coast. The port faces the Gulf of Oman, so vessels arrive from the Indian Ocean without transiting the Strait of Hormuz, and cargo continues to land when the Strait is closed.

Our team is at the port when the vessel berths, so documents are checked, declarations filed and containers collected without delay.

From Khorfakkan, cargo continues by road: under bond to the dry ports, to any address in the UAE, and across the border to Saudi Arabia and Oman.

How We Work

  1. Documents First

    We check documents before the vessel sails. The commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading are compared with each other and with the goods while the cargo is still at the port of loading, where an incorrect consignee, a missing weight or an unclear description is simple to correct. When the vessel reaches Khorfakkan, the import declaration is ready to file, and the delivery order can be collected as soon as the shipping line releases it.

  2. Early Classification

    We settle the tariff classification before the first declaration is filed. Every declaration carries an HS code, and a code queried at the port holds the consignment until it is resolved. For a company importing or exporting for the first time, classification is part of trade setup: we register the importer or exporter code with customs and obtain the MoIAT, MoCCAE, municipality and other approvals that controlled goods require.

  3. Free-Time Control

    We track free time from the day of discharge. A container has a fixed number of free days at the terminal before storage and detention charges apply, and within them we collect the delivery order, arrange the port pass and gate release, and attend any customs inspection. The container then travels by road to the consignee, directly or through a dry port, and the empty is returned to the shipping line.

  4. One Point of Contact

    Each consignment is managed by one contact, who reports every milestone: documents received, declaration filed, cargo cleared, container collected and delivery completed. Questions go to the same person, who knows the documents and the status, rather than to separate departments. Our office is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.
